We had the unfortunate circumstance of having transmission issues on the 101 today just north of Goleta in our sierra 2500 and in-bed camper. We called a couple tows around, but landed on Smittys. Vicky, the dispatcher who took our call, was kind and quick to get help out there to our location. The tow arrived in about 30 minutes, and their driver, Anthony, was open and honest with us from the beginning. Anthony was friendly, funny, and so informative. We got our rig towed to Thousand Oaks, which was about 1 and 1/2 hours in travel time, and he even let us offload the camper first in the driveway and then offloaded the truck next to it so we wouldn’t have to leave it on the street. Overall, an expensive and unfortunate event still turned into a positive and helpful experience for me and my partner. Would 100% recommend.
