Smitty’s Towing is proud to provide HAZMAT response and other environmental services under our sister company, Smitty’s Environmental.

Previously, cleanup of roadside oil spills involved absorbent or dirt and a quick sweep. This method leaves behind residual hydrocarbons that drain into storm water run-off, flooding into groundwater, oceans, and streams. Smitty’s Environmental birthed in response to this clear, industry-wide problem. Since then Smitty’s Environmental has blossomed into addressing and responding to clean up situations in residential, business, community spaces, and more.

We pride ourselves on using state of the art equipment, chemistry, and technology to mitigate the effects of hazardous materials. Our rapid response vehicles are in both Santa Maria, Lompoc, and Santa Barbara, so time sensitive jobs can be catered to with care and expediency. At Smitty’s Environmental, our goal is to leave the scene in better condition than it was before the event.
