About Smitty’s Towing
Smitty’s Towing opened its doors for business in 1992, realizing there was a need in the Goleta-Santa Barbara area for a dependable towing company that would assist in the trucking and hard to handle equipment. The company originated as mainly a heavy duty towing and recovery facility. By 1993, we started branching out into the quickly growing field of light duty towing.
In 2011, we added a location serving Buellton, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, Los Alamos, and Solvang with full services in light, medium, and heavy duty towing including a full inside storage yard. Since our start we have been delivering the foremost towing and recovery service on the California Central Coast. We provide a variety of services; including towing, transport, emergency recovery, mobile repairs and truck repair services. We handle the emergency transport of loads across the nation.
At Smitty’s Towing, we live by the theory that no job is too big or too small for us to tackle. Over the past 30 years, we have worked with multiple Law Enforcement Agencies, Corporations, Dealerships, Motor Clubs and the general motoring public. My Ram promaster campervan had a breakdown on the highway at night, had a very professionnel and helpful lady on the phone that immediately sent a tower. My driver 2 nights ago - outstanding gentleman- Volvo C70 transmission goes out - I was gonna have it towed to Los Olivos - he suggested Swede Automotive for the following morning- outstanding decision - he was completely professional - held the vehicle in town until I confirmed services could be performed by Swede- called the next morning to confirm- appt scheduled he towed and it was a great decision. Excellent recommendation and follow through - can't ask more than that - 👍
